Q: How long will it take to change my negative beliefs?
A: It takes time and repetition to fully integrate new thinking patterns, beliefs and behaviors into your life; most people have experienced positive changes after following the program for one month. Furthermore, they have been able to incorporate these changes into various aspects of their lives within two to three months. It usually takes people 30 to 90 days to change thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.
Q: How often do I need to listen to the CD?
A: It is helpful to listen to the CD every night before going to sleep or as you go to sleep; you can also listen to it during the day time as well. The advantage of listening to it before bed time is you are more receptive to becoming relaxed and taking in a healthier new program, as well as it may be good time management for you.
Q: Can I listen to the CD while driving my car or while doing other things?
A: The CD is effective when it is listened to with you eyes closed and in a relaxing environment; also I wouldn’t want you to go into a deep relaxing state while you are driving a car or doing something else. If your eyes are open you are not taking in the information on a deep subconscious level where you need to go in order to create positive change.
Q: Will I lose control and be programmed with what I do not agree with?
A: No; you can be assured that your subconscious mind will only accept and allow new suggestions that are in your best interest. You have the power, influence and choice to change your beliefs and experiences as you desire; no one can do this for you unless you authorize it.
Q: Do I need to use the exercise booklet to change my beliefs?
A: If you use the exercise booklet that comes with the CD you can personalize your listening experience. When using the exercise you can target certain concerns and issues you want to deal with and then listen to the CD. Your subconscious mind will take what comes up from the exercise and blend it into your listening experience, thus helping you to have a quicker and more complete transformation of your thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.
Q: What kinds of experiences should I expect from listening to the CD, and are there any negative side effects?
A: People have different experiences. Some people experience a sense of deep relaxation and find that they go into such a deep state that they can’t remember hearing what was said on the CD; You are still benefiting from the CD even though you may not remember hearing what was said, as the subconscious mind will take in the information needed, especially with repetition. After listening or falling asleep to the recording people have expressed feeling a variety of experiences such as: feeling refreshed, recharged, rejuvenated, alert, empowered, present, focused, calmer, peaceful and compassionate with themselves and others. They often find that throughout their day they are less reactive and more calmly responding to the events in their day; they find that they are making healthier choices, setting healthier goals and achieving them.
On rare occasions some people find that they are a bit restless and cannot relax as they would like when listening to the CD; this may occur if there is extreme stress or resistance to a new and healthy program. If this occurs it is important to continue listening to the recording and breathe slowly and deeply as instructed on the CD. Any resistance will pass after listening for awhile. Sometimes our mind is not ready to give up old thinking, beliefs and behaviors and we need repetition to experience a letting go of any resistance. Listening to your recording at night as you go to sleep can reduce resistance as you are usually more tired at this time and the conscious mind will disengage more than during the day.
Q: Why are there six tracks on the CD?
A: Each CD in the series opens with a familiar set of tracks to aid you in the process of Relaxation, Letting go, Connecting With the healthy part of yourself, Gently healing the past and Integration. These tracks are essential steps toward preparing you to be open and receptive to the unique content of each CD.
